Lotto’s history

1973 – Lotto Sport Italia was established by the Caberlotto family in Montebelluna, Italy, the world centre of footwear manufacturing.

In June 1973, Lotto made its debut as a sports footwear manufacturer. Tennis shoes signalled the beginning of production, followed by models for basketball, volleyball, athletics and football. Sports clothing was the company’s next venture.

1980’s – Lotto began to create its first football boot. The company then began to expand into the export market, and its international business grew rapidly. Ten years later the brand was being distributed in more than 60 countries around the world.

1990’s – In June 1999, the company was taken over by a group of local businesspeople and it wasn’t long before the company was renamed Lotto Sport Italia.

Today – Lotto produces a host of sports and leisure clothing including footwear for men, women and children.
