Liam Miller penned a deal at QPR for an undisclosed fee on Thursday, but what did you think of his capture.
The former Manchester United, Celtic and Sunderland player who has also had spell with Leeds United, was announced as a Rangers player and it sparked all manner of debate on the forum.

Ranger1975 looked at the specifics of the situation and summed up that anyone who is good enough for managers of the ilk of Keane and Ferguson, is good enough for Rangers.
“I`m quite happy to be honest
“I had my heart set on Ben Watson or Michael Johnson but this boy has Champions League and international experience so I`m happy (if Sir Alex saw something and Roy Keane saw the same…..who are we to argue?) and i think this was Sousa`s first official signing as he`s heard all about Miller.”
The calibre of player, according to sandydl, is specifically the kind that Rangers should be going for.
“I believe he is the type of player we should be going for now.
“Premier League experience, class – maybe not a proven goal scorer – but an all-round quality midfielder. And most Sunderland fans’ opinions I’ve read is that we will be very happy having Miller around!”
Vital QPR new signing PaulaHoops was also happy with the move, believing Miller to be the best addition so far.

number8buser also saw the merits of signing a player that has played under the one of the game`s best managers – Alex Ferguson. However his comments display the predictably unsubtle undertones of his disdain for Mr Briatore?
“Anyone who has been good enough to play for the great Alec Ferguson is good enough for me.
“Much better than the foreign cr*p that Flav has brought in so far.
“Could be a great signing and I`m happy.”
While Clonmany Hoop didn`t buy into the Ferguson argument, giving a prime example as to why Rangers fans may be worried about the deal.
“Don’t buy into the theory that ‘If he played for United he must be good’.
“Djemba-Djemba played 20 times and neither of them were any good!!
“Time will tell not reputations.”
Sunderland supporter mackem 49000 dropped by to give his appraisal on the R`s latest addition.
“He is a player where big things were expected of him, hence being at clubs like Man Utd and Celtic before us.
“At the time Alex Ferguson thought so highly of him he thought he would go on and become Roy Keanes replacement. But he has never fulfilled what you see in flashes his potential.
“He is definitely a very good Championship midfielder but not good enough at Premier League level. I wish him and your club all the best for the future and thank him for his service to Sunderland.”
