Plenty of QPR fans were supplied with some good laughs over the weekend when the club admin released a tweet after they beat Preston on the weekend.
Rangers managed to overcome the Lancashire side 2-0 at Loftus Road thanks to a brace from Eberechi Eze.
It was a hugely important goal for both the club and Mark Warburton considering they had gone eight games without a win. Despite Alex Neil’s side having 57 per cent possession (BBC), they still conceded more shots than the home side, and the ever-impressive Eze was just about the main difference between the two teams.
Upon the win for the Hoops, there was unsurprisingly many happy faces around the club – and it even inspired a bit of fun from the club admin, who tweeted ‘announce clean sheet’ attached to a picture of Joe Lumley tucked up in some very pristine bedsheets.
Here are some of the responses below…

Despite coming under some pressure in recent weeks, Joe Lumley has put in a top performance when his team has most needed it.
According to stats from WhoScored, Lumley managed to put in a performance worth 7.2/10. He managed to make four saves throughout the match, per SofaScore, which was enough to give the club a vital three points to take them to 14th.
