It was confirmed today that Queens Park Rangers midfielder Mikele Leigertwood was isolated with the squad with Swine Flu.
In what was billed by QPR as a virus, The Times has revealed in light of the Blackburn debacle, that it was in fact a bout of Swine Flu.
Previously QPR goalkeeper Radek Cerny was sidelined owing to the illness, and Leigertwood was isolated from the squad for a fortnight to let it clean up.
Leigertwood returned to action on Saturday from the bench replacing Peter Ramage in the 4-2 win over Derby County.
