Former Queens Park Rangers winger Emmanuel Jorge Ledesma has found a new club.

The young Argentinean made way at Loftus Road shortly after the arrival of Paulo Sousa after the Genoa loanee found himself on the periphery of the squad.

He finished off the remainder of the 2008-09 season with Serie B side Salernitana, where he made six appearances scoring a solitary goal.

His latest career move takes him away from Genoa once again, this time in a co-ownership deal with LegaPro First Division (formerly Serie C1/2) side Novara Calcio.

The young winger set the world alight in his early time in W12, with a breathtaking display of talent and skill, epitomised by his Carling Cup hatrick against Carlisle United.

His star began to fall as defenders grew wise to his tricks and he wasn’t able to provide the desired impact, under Dowie, Ainsworth or Sousa.

He will be remembered by many QPR fans for his opening antics against Stevenage Borough in a pre-season friendly. He had barely entered the field when a tackle came in and let out a loud – Ahhhhhhhh!.

This was met with laughter by all those in attendance, and even imitation from the away supporters as Emmanuel quickly realised that he wasn’t going to get a decision.
