Bircham back.

This week will see Marc Bircham return into the centre of midfield after
Steve Lomas collected his fifth booking of the season in the game against
Crystal Palace.

Extended Stay for Michael?


Following the success of agreeing an extension on the loan agreement of having Jimmy Smith at QPR, it now looks likely that
the QPR board will sanction a further two month loan for Michael Macienne,
who has impressed at right back in the last few weeks since he joined from Chelsea.

Make your mind up son!

The club, are still trying tie down the services of Ray Jones, but his agent is stalling over finances, this could inevitably pave the way for a move at the end of the season, leading to a figure set by arbitration. The club have still not given up hope, with R`s boss John Gregory rating the youngster very highly.

Clear Out

Certain players will be allowed to leave in the January window. Amongst those to be shown the door are polish striker Adam Czerkas(currently injured), Mauro Milanese and Egutu Oliseh who has failed to impress the new boss.

Cook Report

No firm bids have come in for Lee Cook, but press reports indicate that
both Aston Villa and Everton have been sufficiently impressed to table substantial bids when the transfer window opens in 8 weeks time. Rangers chairman Gianni Paladini is determined to hold onto Cook who is producing consistent match winning performances and has tried to scare off interest by slapping a £10m price tag on the left wingers head.
