Gregory bossing it!

John Gregory celebrated the great win against Luton by going to a Bruce Springstein concert straight after the match on Saturday night. It did not stop him from turning at 7.30 am on Sunday morning ready for training though!!.

Sunday is a day of work for the R`s.

All the QPR players arrived by 9am for light training on Sunday morning and it was business as usual. The boss feels Sunday is the best day to get the players in straight after a match to iron out the bumps and bruises and it also helps him see exactly those who can be considered match fit for the next game. Previously a few players would be able to stay at home and maybe not mention any slight niggles but now there is no hiding.

Injury Woe for Birch and Kev..

Injury forced midfielder Marc Bircham out of the Luton clash after suffering a hamstring pull on Friday and is doubtful for the trip against Cardiff City this Friday evening. Kevin Gallen`s short substitute appearance seems to have been attributed to a groin strain he picked up after no less than 10mins on the pitch at Kenilworth Road and was substituted in the last minute by Nick Ward. Gallen now looks a major doubt ahead of the clash against the league leaders.

The come back Kings?

Before the 3-2 win on Saturday QPR had the worst record in the division for conceding the first goal in a match this season. We had gone behind in 11 of our first 17 league matches which is approx 65% of games.

That`s Entertainment?

QPR are now amongst the top goal scorers in the Championship but unfortunately we have only four clubs with a worse defensive record. Recent results have seen the R`s lose 2-3 to Sheff Wed, draw 3-3 with Norwich and WBA, beat Palace 4-2 and on Saturday beat Luton 3-2. That is an incredible 28 goals scored in the last 5 Rangers games. Our scoring average in the last 5 matches has been 3 goals per game!!!
