It’s finally happened – Burnley have recalled Nakhi Wells from his loan spell at Queens Park Rangers.
It’s been talked about for weeks now, and with just a few days before the window closes, Rangers have the task of replacing their top goalscorer.
The club announced the movement just yesterday, to which the Bermudian forward – who has spent the last 18 months in west London – responded with a blue heart on Twitter.
Do we have a chance of signing Nakhi Wells?
We will if we can afford to get him
Not sure
Unlikely considering the teams interested
All hope is not lost though for fans who are gutted about his departure. QPR CEO Lee Hoos went onto to say that the club is interested in signing him full-time, as long as they can buy him without potentially putting them in trouble with Financial Fair Play.
Unsurprisingly, many R’s fans jumped at the opportunity to send a message to the player, with many thanking the forward for all of his hard work and plenty of others urging him to stay at the club.

Still want to see you back here banging goals in and tearing up defenses. Best of luck but hope that luck brings you back permanently!

Come home already.
In all seriousness, thank you for what you have done with us. As @QPR have said, always welcome back to our club.

Any team that signs Wells will be getting a player who is in red-hot form. So far this campaign, he tops the charts for goals at the club by bagging 14 goals in 28 games – a record which is bound to be very hard to replace for Mark Warburton.
