ADO Den Haag goalkeeper Stefan Postma is set to take his current club to the arbitration committee of the Dutch F.A. after they have blocked his move to Loftus Road.

The 31 year old Dutch keeper has already put pen to paper on an 18 month contract with the R’s, but ADO have blocked the switch. The club is challenging a clause in the ex-Aston Villa and Wolves stopper that would allow him to move according to AD Sportwereld.

Postma`s agent Hakim Slimani states:

‘In his contract is the clause that Stefan can leave ADO if a club pays the remainder of what is left of his contract.”

‘That means that a club needs to pay six months’ wages and not an extra transfer fee.”

Slimani continues:

‘I have talked about this with a legal expert. ADO disagree though, and we still haven’t found a resolution to get out of this mess. That’s why we’re asking for a speedy procedure at the arbitrage committee of the KNVB.”

‘Stefan needs to keep himself quiet now. We find it a pity that we can’t work it out, of course Stefan has nothing against ADO.’

Postma would become Rangers’ 3rd professional goalkeeper alongside Lee Camp and Jake Cole. Other goalkeepers on Rangers` books include Sean Thomas, Chris Goodchild, Reece Crowther and young prospect Liam O’Brien.
