Journalist Claims QPR Fail In Low Ball Bid For Irish International

|

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Warburton had already been linked with a possible return for former Brentford player Alan Judge, and speculation linking us with the Republic of Ireland international has returned this weekend.

Report Claims Warburton Wants To Reunite With Another Former Player At QPR – Used To Have A £10m Valuation

The original speculation leant more on the fact that the two of them knew each other back in their spells at Griffin Park, but given the 30-year-old’s talent I was unsure if we’d be able to offer enough for Ipswich Town to even entertain just looking at some quick profit.

Whether the above claim of a £250,000 bid is accurate is open for debate, but even allowing for Ipswich to have signed him for a nominal fee, I’d still think we’d have to be looking at at least seven figures for them to deal given his obvious quality.

You do get the feeling that this one could be one to watch through until deadline day though.
