Queens Park Rangers have had four call-ups for the forthcoming international weekend.

After being placed on stand-by Martin Rowlands has been called up to the full squad and will join up with the Ireland squad on Tuesday as a replacement for Andy Reid.

Eire currently sit in second place in Group Eight with this weekend’s opponents Italy sitting atop four points clear of Trapattoni’s side.

Ireland face Italy on Saturday before their final home test against Montenegro – two games that will decide their World Cup fate.

Adel Taarabt will travel with his Morocco side to face Gabon in Libreville on Saturday October 10.

Morocco currently sit bottom of their group, with three points and no victories from four games, having lost to Gabon 2-1in Casablanca back in March.

Gabon themselves will be hoping to chase down leaders Cameroon in Group A of the African World Cup Qualifiers, sitting a solitary point behind the front-runners.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Ákos Buzsáky received a call-up to the Hungary squad in a bid to boost their fledgling qualification hopes this weekend.

Hungary face two tough away trips that could decide the fate of the group, against Portugal in Lisbon on Saturday, and then Copenhagen to play Denmark on Wednesday.

Finally and perhaps most importantly Kaspars Gork?s will start for Latvia in their crucial trip to Athens to face Greece on Saturday.

Should they gain revenge for their 2-0 defeat earlier in the competition, Latvia will host Moldova in Riga on Wednesday, in what could prove to be one of the biggest games in their history.
