Queens Park Rangers took an emphatic victory over Sheffield Wednesday in Tuesday evening’s Championship tie and we saw three goals come from Tomer Hemed, Luke Freeman and Nahki Wells.
The 3-0 victory was our sixth win of the 2018/19 campaign and it lifted us into eleventh place in the second tier table and we are rather bizarrely after our start to the year, only one point outside of the Play-Off spots at this early stage of the season.
Back to back wins and four unbeaten also caught people’s attention.
Taking to social media to react to the match, chairman Amit Bhatia struck the right chord with his message of celebration.
I think it’s fair to say we live for nights like tonight and performances like these! What a brilliant all round team performance, bring on Friday ! @QPR pic.twitter.com/h3ZcZdUhVk

The reaction to these Tweets amongst fans was probably predictable but it certainly put folks in a good mood and now we head into the coming tie with Aston Villa in even brighter spirits.

Can we make it unbeaten in five when we host Dean Smith’s new side at Loftus Road, we’ll have to wait and see.
