Vital QPR takes a look at the players plying their trade away from Loftus Road.

Leeds United made the short journey across the Pennines to face Oldham Athletic and Hogan Ephraim made his debut for the Whites

Ephraim was ineligible for the weekend FA Cup draw with Kettering and was handed the number 35 shirt and a starting place on the left-wing at Boundary Park.

In a keenly-fought encounter Leeds took the advantage through former Latics midfielder Neil Kilkenny.

Ephraim was replaced a little over 15 minutes before the end of the fixture, with Robert Snodgrass on in his stead.

The Whites doubled the advantage little under ten minutes before the end as Argentinean Luciano Becchio struck to maintain their eight point advantage over second-placed Charlton.

Into non-league and Salisbury City were faced with the unenviable task of hosting AFC Wimbledon in the Blue Square Premier.

Joe Oastler and Lee Brown started for the Whites in a new-look 5-3-2 formation – with Oastler one of three centre backs and Brown a left wing-back.

It didn’t go to plan as Brown was forced off with an injury after 21 minutes – former Arsenal man Sean Clohessy on in his stead.

Tommy Widdrington’s men eventually succumbed to the Dons’ dominance as Jon Main struck twice in quick succession after the hour mark to condemn the Whites to a home defeat.

A slight concern for him would have been Ebbsfleet picking up maximum points against promotion candidates Stevenage – former R Stefan Bailey bagging a brace.
