It would seem that, because we are going to be appealing Clint Hill’s red card from yesterday’s game (against Swansea), Hill will be available for tomorrow’s trip to Coventry.

His appeal is apparently to be heard this coming Thursday which frees him to play for us tomorrow.

If upheld, Hill will miss (at least) three matches, starting away to Norwich on New Year’s Day.

Incidentally, Swansea are also going to be appealing Tate’s dismissal and, so it would seem, Mr Crossley, our esteemed referee from yesterday, has admitted to not having handled the ‘fracas’ very well. If that is true, it would help with both players’ appeals – but I am not going to hold my breath!
