A Mixed weekend for Queens Park Rangers’ loan players with one player in particular standing out from the pack.

Heidar Helguson swept back into Vicarage Road to throw of the shackles of his Loftus Road demons and roll back the years for Watford.

Coming from the bench with the Hornets behind, Helguson’s diving header levelled the fixture with a fantastic diving header on the far post – to say he enjoyed it was an understatement.

He charged into the back of the net with a release of pure adrenaline being shown to the home support. Moments later he would have another effort to cheer.

This time a little more fortuitous as another far post cross, with some questionable marking from the Foxes the ball came off his shin and rolled past the keeper to hand Watford the lead.

Again Heidar charged towards the home support in delight, here was a man brimming with confidence after coming back to the place where he is best appreciated.

Watford went on to concede once more in the final moments of the game as they had to be contented with a home point.

Lee Brown started for Salisbury City away at Tamworth in the Blue Square Premier Division. One of the division’s basement clubs fell behind to two early goals as Oastler looked on from the bench.

Joe Oastler eventually took to the field on 55 minutes but it wasn’t enough for the cash-strapped whites who must now play him from the start after a disappointing beginning to the fixture.
