Paul Hart has released the following statement via Richard Bevan at the LMA.

Former Queens Park Rangers boss Paul Hart resigned from his position at Queens Park Rangers after only five games in the post – three against Sheffield United.

He picked up one win against Bristol City, but his style of play and tactics didn’t endear himself to the R’s support – but to his credit he thanked those for their support during his brief stint.

A statement on the LMA website courtesy of Chief Executive Richard Bevan read:

‘I am able to say that Paul Hart has left the football club. I understand that he was very unhappy with certain situations which have to remain confidential and felt that resignation was in the best interests of all concerned.

‘Paul wants to thank his staff and the fans for their support during his period at the club and wishes them, and the club, well for the future’.

Mick Harford will take charge for the foreseeable future as manager – not caretaker – as Rangers once again begin life under a new boss.
