Gregory lays down the law!!!

Not only is QPR boss John Gregory determined to change things on the pitch but he seems intent on changing things off the field with his players too.

Further to banning alcohol in the players lounge at home matches, he slapped a ban on any of his players talking to the press after the 2-1 win against Southampton. The press waited for nearly an hour to be told, no-one including the manager would be giving any interviews.

This week will see some additions to the coaching squad and redundancies in other areas. John Gregory has been instrumental in making those decisions, after making it clear he does not want friends working with him, but professional people who can make a difference. As usual we will keep you up to date with the latest developments, in what promises to be an eventful week off the field at loftus Road.

There is an almost Alex Ferguson feel about this. If Mr Gregory is half as successful with Rangers then he can refuse to speak to who he wants all day long!!!
