“Great Name” “Caught Me On A Bad Day” – Some QPR Fans React To Latest Contract Extension

|

Queens Park Rangers confirmed yesterday that Under 23 winger Chay Tilt had now signed a new 12-month extension at Loftus Road.

The 20-year-old has extended his deal by a further season after making 20 appearances in 2017/18 for Paul Hall’s side, returning five goals for his efforts.

Having arrived at the club from West Bromwich Albion last summer, he is yet to make his first-team bow but clearly he’s been impressing and he was named as an unused substitute for our final home game of the season against Birmingham City.

The Walsall born youngster will remain with us until at least next summer as he continues his development.

As is always the case, fans are usually delighted when it comes to a member of the next generation taking another step to what we hope will be a good career, especially from a QPR perspective but Tilt himself was in playful mood as he got involved with one particular comment.

Having got a bench chance last season, be worth remembering the name as we may well see him in Cup competitions this year.
