Thursday was a busy day for Queens Park Rangers fans, as following on from the speculation that young Academy graduate Ilias Chair would soon pen a new long term contract, it was confirmed that the 21-year-old talent had now done just that.

With just under 12 months remaining on his deal, the new contract sees him sign a three year extension keeping him at Loftus Road until the summer of 2023, and with eight appearances to his name this year under manager Mark Warburton, he now takes his career tally at the club to 23 appearances in total, along with two goals returned.
