Your chance to vote for what you think was the Rangers Goal of 2008.

A shortlist of 17 has been whittled down to five by members on the Vital QPR Forum, and we are left with the following five candidates for the Goal of 2008.

They are as follows in chronological order:

1. ROWAN VINE v Barnsley (H) 19-01-08

Vine and Agyemang epitomised their flourishing partnership with a delightful passing move. A succession of one two`s put Vine right infront of goal to slot home with ease.

2. AKOS BUZSAKY v Blackpool (H) 11-03-08

Buzsaky`s latched on to a pin point cross on the right hand side of the area, before lifting the ball on the half volley over Paul Rachubka as the ball looped into the far corner. Voted goal of the season.

3. DAMION STEWART v Aston Villa (A) 24-09-08

The big Jamaican climbed higher than Carlos Cuellar to send a thundering header home and send the R`s fans into raptures behind the goal. Parejo`s cross was sublime and Stewart sent the R`s into the next round.

4. SAMUEL DI CARMINE v Birmingham City (H) 28-10-08

Di Carmine sent Loftus Road into raptures as his stunning strike sealed the points. He picked up the ball outside the area with only one thing in mind, he drove goalwards and thundered a right footed piledriver into the top left hand corner – not bad for ten men.

5. MARTIN ROWLANDS v Wolverhampton Wanderers (H) 06-12-08

Rowlands won the game for Rangers at Loftus Road with a stunning effort live on Sky. Rowlands picked the ball up from deep and didn`t need a second invitation to shoot, firing an unstoppable drive past he reach of Wayne Hennessey.
