Young forward Antonio German has today penned a one month loan extension with npower League Two side Southend United.
The striker with bags of pace and enthusiasm to accompany, Antonio German made quite a reputation for himself after resurrecting his QPR career towards the back end of last season.
When a loan spell with Aldershot went awry it appeared that a prospering career had somewhat hit the buffers but his return to form and subsequent run in the team yielded goals and hope.
Since joining Southend United on a one month loan deal in November, German has scored one goal in six appearances – a penalty against Macclesfield Town in the FA Cup.
An extra month’s experience at Roots Hall will look to give German a few more goals and the experience necessary to return to QPR and challenge for the first team squad.
