Queens Park Rangers will field four trialists as the reserves take on Southampton today

Southampton’s reserves come to Harlington in a behind-closed-doors friendly, with Martin Rowlands set to feature.

The midfielder who injured anterior cruciate ligaments while on international duty with Ireland is stepping back into the fray this afternoon.

He will be joined by the club’s current fringe players including Patrick Agyemang, Tommy Smith and Mikele Leigertwood.

Four trialists will join up with the squad which includes several youngsters, one of which – Bruno Andrade – penned a professional contract today.
