Former Queens Park Rangers coach Des Bulpin has taken charge of the Philippines national side.
Bulpin, who was a coach under Gerry Francis and had numerous spells in W12, has taken up a one-year deal with the national side.
The coach has also spent time working with Uzbekistan in recent times and is in good company with Bryan Robson recently succeeding Peter Reid as manager of Thailand.
Bulpin helped develop England international Peter Crouch during his spell at Queens Park Rangers before joining Ian Holloway at Plymouth Argyle for a brief period.
