“First Of Many” “Well Done Big Man” – Some QPR Fans React To New Signing’s First Goal

|

In Saturday’s pre-season friendly against Bundesliga side Hoffenheim, Queens Park Rangers had to battle back from two goals down.

We did just that at the Hugo Koch Stadion with summer signing Toni Leistner bagging his maiden club goal and Ryan Manning added a second as we ended the final ten minutes of the match with a flourish to secure a 2-2 draw.

With plenty of Queens Park Rangers fans expecting big things from our freshly dubbed ‘Big Friendly Giant’ reaction on social media to his goal was hugely positive as our pre-season preparations continue with the coming 2018/19 Championship campaign edging nearer.

With the 27-year-old German centre-half expected to play a big part in helping to sure us up at the back this season, seeing him use his height advantage and gaining the benefits of that from set pieces this early in the summer is only an additional boost for fans as there are still concerns ahead of the coming season with strengthening expected in the transfer window.
