The first friendly prior to the new campaign has been announced as Rangers embark on a tour of the south-west.
Torquay United is the first port of call in what is expected to be several games down in the West Country, with a date yet to be set for the clash.
The last time the R’s travelled to Plainmoor they picked up a slender 3-2 win courtesy of a brace from midfielder Stuart Wardley, along with a strike from Chris Kiwomya.
Rangers also remain unbeaten in their last eight games against the Gulls, and there are rumours afoot of further games to be announced in the West Country.
