VITAL QPR asks for the views of the fans, as we look back to last season and with great anticipation for the coming campaign – first up QPR4Me.

LAST SEASON

Favourite Goal & Why?: Jamie Mackie v LFC. That was the moment when survival became a real possibility after the descent into Hell under MH’s early days. Followed by Cisse against Stoke, see answer to Q2.

Favourite Game & Why?: Stoke City at home. Breathtaking finish to the game, mixed with the WBA comeback that bolloxed Bolton.

Player of the Season & Why?: Clint Hill. Sent off first game, dumped out on loan to the failing trees, only to return and pull our defence together.

Signing of the Season & Why?: Samba Diakite. Idiot in first game, scary in others, worked his heart out in the middle of the field and made us stronger when it mattered!

View on Last Season: At the end of the day, we fell short of my expectations. 15th should’ve been easy. However, the takeover came too late, the panic buying stuffed us, the sacking of NW almost condemned us to death. Somehow, we managed to survive. How we did that? Only the FSM and his noodly appendages know. The surprises were the failure of Joey Barton and SWP to show us a glimpse of what they were meant to be! Hilly and Jamie, surpassed expectations by a mile.

2012-13 SEASON

Signing of the Summer So Far & Why?: Wait and see. Last season should have clearly taught all of us that!

Your Captain & Why?: Probably JSP, he has played at a level that no-one else in the team has got near! Otherwise Shaun Derry for his never say die approach!

Hotly Anticipated Fixture?: CFC at home. JT will learn to understand what we all think of the arrogant, nauseating piece of shite that he is, along with his pet ‘Uncle Tom’, Cashley!

Starting XI – Opening Day

Green
Fabio
Onuoha
Ferdinand
Hill
Diakite
Derry
Park
Traore
Taarabt
Cisse

Mainly because I’m not sure that Ali F will be fully fit for first game and I prefer Traore to have a defender behind him, it allows him to bomb forward ala Bale without having to worry about the weakest part of his game.

**Written before capture of Junior Hoilett**

Expectations?: Top ten. Has to be, otherwise MH’s self image will be shot to bits. He believes that he is the best thing since sliced bread. He’d better deliver otherwise fans will turn on him due to very high levels of expectation. TF has already shown that he is no stranger to the panic button. It really is ‘s*** or bust’.

Many thanks to QPR4Me – if you’d like to let us know your answers add to the thread on the forum or email qpr@vitalfootball.co.uk.
