Rangers fans have their say on the 2008/09 season with LCF disappointed that a playoff place wasn`t forthcoming.

How do you feel about the 2008/09 season? A little disappointed to be honest. I wanted a top 8 finish this season and am a little disappointed we were not fighting for a playoff place at the end of the season.

It was not bad enough for me to boo the team at any point but the lack of effort on the part of our players in the last few games was disappointing. Saying that, we did build up a good squad so that we will be strong next season and I am hoping that with one or two we will be where Sheffield United were on the last day of the season.

What was your stand out moment? It has to be Di Carmine`s goal against Birmingham. We had snow on that horrible October night, ten men, every decision going against us and yet we managed to beat a good team to give Ainsworth his first win as a manager.

Player of the Season: I am going to cheat here and say it`s a tie between Stewart and Cerny. Stewart has been a revelation this season. I don`t actually remember him being this good before this season and he has been solid for us.

As for Cerny I know he does not inspire confidence to those watching him but it does inspire confidence for our defence. He won the Golden Gloves for a reason and no matter how often he flaps at the ball instead of catching it I am happy he was here.

Goal of the Season: Rowlands did score a really good one and so did Di Carmine but I am going to go for Di Carmine`s goal because of the situation on that day.

Game of the Season: Again it would be the Birmingham game. The atmosphere was electric; the goal was brilliant; we had everything against us; Ainsworth won as a manager; and it was snowing in October.

Which manager do you want to see at Loftus Road? Someone that is happy being a head coach rather than a manager and someone with enough experience to take us to the Premiership and keep us there. Also someone that we can respect.

Where should Rangers strengthen in the summer? Striker. We do not have a single prolific striker at QPR and we have needed one for a while. I am happy with the rest squad. Possible a decent back up Left Back but the rest of our squad is quite strong.

What will need to change for Rangers to be in the promotion frame? Well as I already said I am happy with our squad except for the lack of quality up front. Vine and Big Pat should be our back up strike force not our best strikers. A prolific striker or two or three would be good.
