The first of the Facebook Army gives his views on how the season has gone and what he wants for the new campaign.

Overall Impression: Overall I’d say I’m not to impressed with the season on a whole. What didn’t help was the board hyping up this season as ‘the new era’ then sacking a manager in Dowie who I admit wasn’t my choice but should of been backed in the transfer Market and given time.

Then when we were playing poorly after every game we were being told ‘we’re still going for the playoffs’ But hey we’re being told now by the club that ‘next season we’re going to challenge’

Goal of the season: Vine v Sheffield Wednesday, for the pure fact he deserved it so much after a long time out.

Game of the season: 3-2 v Sheffield Wednesday it was a close one with the Birmingham game at home but the way we came back was like seasons gone by so I’d say this one.

Player of the season: Matt Connolly all day long, centre back, right back, left back, on the bench or not in the squad. When he plays he`s class when he doesn`t we miss him. He’s been the stand out player, Premiership class.

Worst player: Delaney/Ramage, how can fans turn up and boo Gavin Mahon and not boo these two? I’m no fan of Gavin or booing your own players but these two Delaney more so have been total dross.

Next manager: Curbishley for me but can’t see it, whoever it is I hope they get time and get to sign there own players and the board stay out of it.

Area to improve: Up front! Simon Cox, Rickie Lambert, Jermaine Beckford, Gary Hooper all have scored shed loads of goals in League One this season so why not take a punt on one maybe two of them?

Hope for next season: I’m not going to expect too much for next season, that’s the mistake a lot of us made for this season and it caused a he’ll of a lot of negativity at games, let’s just say new manager, new strikers plenty of goals and to be in with a shout of the playoffs on the last day, and I’ll be happy.
