Peter Crouch has been reportedly outlined as a target for Queens Park Rangers, providing Neil Warnock can persuade the board to part with the money.
The Metro are this morning reporting that the England international would cost a buying club around £6m as Spurs are willing to ‘listen to offers.’
As noted rightfully, Rangers have been prudent with their summer spending, with Warnock having to make a slim budget go a little further.
It would take all of his persuasive powers to double the club’s current transfer record and snap up the former youth product.
After re-joining the club from Tottenham initially, Crouch made 42 appearances and scored ten goals as Rangers were relegated from Division 1 in 2001.
He went on to star for Southampton before moving to Liverpool, Portsmouth and Tottenham while picking up 42 caps for England.
