Wednesday evening’s defeat to Bristol City at Loftus Road saw more Queens Park Rangers fans hit a tipping point with both the club and manager Steve McClaren.

Opening up the 2018/19 Championship campaign with four straight defeats, there hasn’t been an awful lot to latch onto for fans in terms of taking some begrudging positives from our showings. It’s largely been as expected when people looked at the squad and our quiet summer and lack of strengthening.

McClaren must have known what he was walking into and even though he’s not flavour of the month, plenty of fans are willing to give him somewhat of a pass on things given the lack of backing he’s received in the transfer market with QPR looking at Financial Fair Play issues.

It at least seems blame spread around as opposed to focused on just his shoulders.

We need the proverbial rabbit out of the hat before the transfer window closes as despite the young talent we know we have at the club, if they aren’t supported we’ll ruin them.
