QPR midfielder Hogan Ephraim has joined Sky Bet League One side Peterborough United on loan today. The 25-year-old has signed a deal that will keep him at London Road for an initial 28-day loan spell.

Ephraim, who is currently QPR`s longest serving player, has failed to feature for the R`s since he came on as a substitute in a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa in 2012. The midfielder will be hoping to earn himself a permanent deal at Darren Ferguson`s side as his playing days at QPR look to be numbered.

Ephraim, who has made over 100 appearances in all competitions for Rangers, was eager to get some first team action under his belt as he said upon his arrival at Peterborough: ‘It was time for me to get out and play a bit of first team football.”

‘I’ve played at this level with Leeds and Charlton, so I know what to expect. The team play attacking football, so I’m looking forward to it.’
