The Premier League this evening released the 25 man squad submitted by all the Premier League teams, with a few surprises popping up in the QPR squad.

The most notable name to miss out on a place in the final 25 is 23-year-old Hogan Ephraim, and with Dan Shittu, Rob Hulse, Petter Vaagan Moen and Patrick Agyemang also excluded from the final list, this could spell the end of their QPR careers for some of these fringe players.

Millwall may start to reopen their interest in Shittu and Hulse, while Ephraim may face the possibility of dropping down to a Championship club on loan to gain regular first team football.

On the plus side, Warnock has decided to include Jamie Mackie, who missed the second half of QPR`s promotion season due to injury. Mackie has yet to make any match appearances since returning to full training, but his inclusion implies he is not too far off making a swift recovery and the gaffer is still looking to include the 25-year-old in his first team plans.

All of Warnock`s 11 summer signings have made the squad which include big name players such as Joey Barton, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Anton Ferdinand.

QPR squad: Kenny, Orr, Hill, Derry, Hall, Gabbidon, Taarabt, Dyer, Campbell, Bothroyd, Faurlin, Mackie, Traore, Buzsaky, Perone, Connolly, Barton, Young, Smith, Helguson, Cerny, Murphy, Wright-Phillips, Ferdinand, Puncheon.
