Crystal Palace has quelled speculation that Neil Warnock will raid his former club for players.

Speaking at the press conference to unveil Paul Hart, administrator Brendan Guilfoyle said: ‘No players are leaving the club before the end of the season – loan or otherwise.’

This pours scorn on speculation last week that Rangers were poised to pounce for Darren Ambrose, Neil Danns and Nathaniel Clyne following the Warnock deal.

All three have been in sparkling form this season despite Palace’s current plight, with Ambrose himself rediscovering form that saw Charlton pay £1.5m for his services previously.

Clyne meanwhile turned down a move to Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers in the transfer window – with Neil Danns also being strongly linked to Swansea City.
