THE QPR defensive unit is on the cusp of being strengthened as two players are on the verge of making a return

Danny Gabbidon and Armand TraorĂ© have been sidelined with respective injuries in recent weeks but will be assessed as Rangers go into this weekend’s encounter with Tottenham Hotspur.

Gabbidon is recovering from a knee injury picking up in the convincing victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers but has missed the following four fixtures.

TraorĂ© was a shock omission against Chelsea with a strained abductor muscle but could also be poised for a swift return – unless of course Clint Hill’s sterling display earns him a successive start.

The Senegalese international had missed out against Fulham previously after being given his matching orders for a rash lunge on Marcus Albrighton of Aston Villa.
