Duo To Be Assessed

THE QPR defensive unit is on the cusp of being strengthened as two players are on the verge of making a return

Danny Gabbidon and Armand Traoré have been sidelined with respective injuries in recent weeks but will be assessed as Rangers go into this weekend’s encounter with Tottenham Hotspur.

Gabbidon is recovering from a knee injury picking up in the convincing victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers but has missed the following four fixtures.

Traoré was a shock omission against Chelsea with a strained abductor muscle but could also be poised for a swift return – unless of course Clint Hill’s sterling display earns him a successive start.

The Senegalese international had missed out against Fulham previously after being given his matching orders for a rash lunge on Marcus Albrighton of Aston Villa.
