Queens Park Rangers have handed contract extensions to two young defenders.

Defensive duo Joe Oastler and Lee Brown have penned year extensions on their present deal in W12 to take them to the end of the 2010/11 campaign.

The pair spent a period on loan at Salisbury City mid-way through last season, picking up some valuable first team experience in the Blue Square Premier Division and the FA Cup.

Both players have had a chance to feature under new R’s boss Neil Warnock, and look set to be given further time to impress next campaign.

This comes as Josh Parker was also handed a new deal in W12 with Warnock looking to put faith in youngsters to step up when required.
