Akos Buzsaky and Matthew Connolly have returned to full training following their knocks in pre-season.

The Hungarian midfielder picked up a slight thigh strain in training which has ruled him out of the last two friendlies against Wycombe Wanderers and Southampton.

He along with Alejandro Faurlín and Mikele Leigertwood have been struggling with similar knocks, with the club yet to confirm the tear in the young Argentinean`s upper thigh.

Also back in contention is former Arsenal defender Matthew Connolly, who missed the clash against the Saints with a calf complaint. A move which saw Gary Borrowdale receive his first start at Loftus Road.

The club confirmed what Lee Cook had told the world on Saturday, that Radek Cerny had a bout of swine flu with Andy Marshall subsequently set to be offered a contract in case required to deputise this weekend against Blackpool.

Lee Cook is the only long-term absentee owing to key-hole surgery on his knee during the summer.
