Two Rangers defenders face late fitness tests ahead of this weekend’s clash against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.

Both Matt Connolly and Peter Ramage were forced to withdraw from play in the win over Doncaster Rovers at the weekend.

Peter Ramage suffered a slight abdominal strain in the victory but is due to travel this weekend, while Matt Connolly rolled his ankle and remains the more doubtful of the duo.

Mikele Leigertwood will be available for selection after the serving his three match suspension for being sent off at Peterborough United.
