“Don’t Get Injured” “Need To Be Signing You Permanently” – Ill-Timed International Break For QPR

|

Queens Park Rangers took another valuable Championship point last weekend and we arguably should’ve come away with a second win of the season from the game against Birmingham City.

Whilst we didn’t make it our first back to back victories of the 2018/19 campaign, we are now two unbeaten after a poor start to the new season and that’ll see spirits in the group rise slightly as it should begin to feel like we’ve turned a corner with late loan strengthening to give us a greater punch up front.

It is about continuing that though and the September international break may not help us on that score as having got the win and a draw the players would’ve wanted to get back out there and no doubt our new recruits would’ve wanted the same as they continue adjusting and settling into life at the club.

Israeli international Tomer Hemed had certainly hit the ground running though as he opened his club account against Wigan Athletic and got another 89 minutes under his belt at the weekend. He does, of course, find himself back in his countries squad for the break, and as he took to social media to celebrate the point and acknowledge the break, reactions from fans were mixed as plenty hoped he wouldn’t return with an injury.

Quickly becoming a fan favourite and hopefully the break goes well for him and he’ll come back with even greater confidence.
