Vital Nottingham Forest have confirmed that Dexter Blackstock has made the switch from Queens Park Rangers to the City Ground.

With Dele Adebola and David McGoldrick on Billy Davies` shopping list the move for Dexter Blackstock had been thrown into doubt in recent weeks.

Today (Monday) however Vital Forest have commented the following:

“Vital Forest can confirm that a deal to bring QPR’s Dexter Blackstock to the City Ground is done and he is now finally a Forest player, after agreeing personal terms with the Reds’.

“The signing of Blackstock, along with those of McGoldrick and Adebola will just about complete the NFFC strike force for next season”

The deal has yet to be confirmed by either club and despite the fact Queens Park Rangers have yet to appoint a manager they have decided to let their top scorer go.

Dexter`s deal was on the wall the moment he left the club without the wishes of Paulo Sousa in late March 2009. A permanent transfer was allegedly written into the loan deal on the proviso that the reds remained a Championship club.

The reds committed to an initial loan fee and subsequently a permanent deal by staying in the Championship. Vital QPR brought you the news of his departure first and exclusively in early March and this latest development casts further into doubt who is deciding on transfers in W12.

What do you think about this deal? Should we let Dexter go?
