A third exit in a busy day at Loftus Road as Damien Delaney finally completes his move to Ipswich Town.

Delaney has been the subject of interest from the Tractor Boys for some time and had previously expressed his desire to work with Roy Keane when he was linked with the vacant post at Loftus Road.

The 27-year-old full back has penned a two year deal at Portman Road for an undisclosed fee after a disappointing season at Loftus Road that promised much following his initial spell at the club.

Joining in January 2008 Delaney showed his great competence in getting forward from left back under the tenure of Luigi De Canio. A combination of Iain Dowie and Paulo Sousa harnessed this attacking prowess and Delaney`s game suffered as a result.

Queens Park Rangers can look to missing man Gary Borrowdale or central defender Matthew Connolly to fill the void for the time being, unless investment is made in a left full-back.

Vital QPR would like to place on record it`s thanks to Damien and wish his the best of luck in his new role at Portman Road.
