Queens Park Rangers will take the decision on whether the match with Plymouth Argyle goes ahead tomorrow.

The R’s are due to host relegation threatened Argyle on Saturday, but with the big freeze inevitably grinding Britain to a halt fears have begun to surface from supporters.

The club have moved to alleviate those anxieties by stating that the pitch is playable and the only concern lies with the surrounding areas.

A spokesperson said: ‘The pitch is fine and the players have trained on it, and at the moment there are no issues with the surrounding areas – although that obviously depends on whether we get more snow.

‘If there is a decision to take, it will be taken on Friday.’
