QUEENS Park Rangers have now confirmed the loan deal taking Adel Taarabt to AC Milan

The Moroccan has signed a loan deal with the Rossoneri with a view to a permanent move in one of the more surprising deals in this January transfer window.

Certainly more than a few eyebrows were raised alone when the midfielder penned a loan deal with Premier League Fulham after being sent home from pre-season.

After overseeing the departure of Martin Jol at Craven Cottage he was given another fresh opportunity under former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen.

He again failed to make an impact, and with QPR not requiring his services, the Moroccan was rather caught in limbo.

Step forward Flavio Briatore. The former QPR owner made strong recommendations to the Rossoneri to move for the misguided midfielder and the Italian giants announced a deal yesterday (Jan 30).

That had rather jumped the gun according to Queens Park Rangers who have now rubber stamped the deal as the parent club of Taarabt.
