Deadline Day – Hughes Signs

AARON Hughes has penned a deal until the end of the season at Loftus Road.

The Fulham defender has been brought in prior to today’s deadline and will be eligible for selection against Burnley in tomorrow’s early kick off.

This will come as welcome relief to supporters with Danny Simpson now sidelined for a prolongued period.

The Northern Ireland international is versatile and can play at either full back or at the heart of defence providing valuable defensive assurance as Rangers push for promotion.

He joins on a free transfer from Craven Cottage.
