Queens Park Rangers boss Luigi De Canio and Blades gaffer Kevin Blackwell had plenty to say after Saturday’s Loftus Road stalemate.

Talking about Angelo Balanta’s first full home debut and first senior goal for the club Gigi told the official QPR website…

‘I am pleased for Angelo; he took his goal very well. He still has a lot to do. He needs to grow, but he has a great talent.’

And the team’s performance…

‘I’m very disappointed with the outcome…’

‘We managed the game very well against a side that restricted us from doing what we wanted, but we should have won the game because we took the lead and looked comfortable.’

‘The two teams were very equal overall.’

Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell was equally disappointed with the result…

‘I was disappointed with the goal we conceded but fancied us to get something out of the game. We dug in and they couldn’t handle us in the end – another five minutes and we would have won the game.’

The Blades official website finished off Blackwell’s post match interview by adding…

‘We had to ride our luck at times but Paddy [Kenny] didn’t have a shot to save.’
