GOALS from Kaspars Gorkss, Heidar Helguson and Lee Cook were enough to see QPR past Crawley Town

Queens Park Rangers performed well to get the better of the Football League new-comers with a useful 4-2 scoreline.

Kaspars Gorkss opened the scoring after lashing home his previously blocked headed effort before Heidar Helguson stroked him a Lee Cook cross after the break.

Defender Charlie Wassmer halved the deficit fir Steve Evans men, but the Premier League side re-asserted their advantage when Helguson rounded the ‘keeper to roll home the third.

Lee Cook turned from provider to goalscorer when he lashed home a fourth from distance, a second half to impress boss Neil Warnock. While Wassmer was once again on target from the edge of the area to round off proceedings
