A young Queens Park Rangers side this evening fell to defeat at Crawley Town.

A goal either side of half time was enough for the Blue Square Premier side, with Town celebrating the dismissal of their winding-up order earlier today.

Striker Matt Tubbs hit the decisive goals, a player who lined up alongside Joe Oastler and Lee Brown during their loan spells at Salisbury City last season.

Rangers line-up predominantly comprised of fringe players and young squad members, with Peter Ramage named as captain for the evening.

Boss Neil Warnock was present, and the performance this evening will have undoubtedly gone some way to deciding his line-up for the impending friendlies and the opener against Barnsley.
