Lee Cook has returned to QPR from Fulham on a season long loan with a view to a permanent deal.

Cook a self professed Rangers fan rejoins the club from Fulham after failing to make a single appearance for the Craven Cottage outfit.

A delighted Lee Cook spoke to QPR.co.uk following his transfer from Fulham

“I’m absolutely delighted to be back,” Cook said

“Once it became clear I could leave Fulham there was only one Club I wanted to move to.

The left winger who signed for the R`s from Watford for £150,000 in the summer of 2004 previously had spells with Aylesbury United and York City, and was an integral cog in Rangers survival in the Championship.

“I had a great rapport with the supporters here in my previous spells and I’m looking forward to playing in front of the Loftus Road faithful again.”

“I’ve spoken to a few of the lads recently and there’s a great belief that we can achieve something this season.

Cook is Rangers seventh summer signing following Matteo Alberti, Peter Ramage and Radek Cerny, as well as Samuel Di Carmine, Emmanuel Ledesma and Kaspars Gorkss. Cookie was delighted to return home to W12.

“The gaffer has made some astute signings over the summer and as a QPR player and a QPR fan, I’m absolutely buzzing ahead of the new season.”
