LEE Cook is back at Loftus Road following the completion of his loan spell at Leyton Orient.

The left-midfielder made ten appearances in sum since joining the O’s in November, and netted a solitary goal against Stevenage.

He was ruled out of his final loan fixture with a minor injury and will return to Loftus Road with a view to fighting for his place.

Orient boss Russell Slade confirmed on Saturday: ‘Cookie got a little bit of a niggly injury, but as you know, he is now trying to force his way into the 25 man squad at QPR.’

At present Cook is eligible for selection, with the doors thrown wide open in January before having to name the select 25 at the end of the month.
