Lee Cook has spoken out about his difficulty during his time at Fulham and notes the fact that QPR fans would love to see him back.

Cook who signed for Premier League outfit Fulham from Rangers back in 2007, had his say on the recent developments in his career,

“I think I was forgotten about a little bit at Fulham last year so I need to show people there what I can do, Roy Hodgson especially.” Cook told Icons.com

“It’s difficult for him and for me as we haven’t seen much of each other and every manager when they come in wants to bring in their own players. I was back at Fulham for a while at the end of the season so hopefully I made an impression then.”

Rangers fan Cook told Icons.com that he hoped to remain in the Premier League if possible,

“My aim is to break into the side and start playing in the Premier League. If I’m not going to get a chance then I’ll have to look at other options and obviously if the club accept an offer for me then that’s out of my control.”

However the winger who has been spotted at Loftus Road several times in the past season, still has a soft spot for the R`s, having made in excess of 100 appearances in a blue and white shirt,

“I know a lot of QPR fans have been talking about me going back and I’m sure if I decide to go there’ll be a few clubs interested but my focus is on impressing when I get back to Fulham.”

Cook spent much of last season in rehabilitation due to a succession of injuries that were made progressively worse following a friendly appearance at Loftus Road, in which the R`s dispatched of Fulham with a Ben Sahar double.

He spent the second half of the season on loan to Charlton Athletic where he made 9 appearances for the Addicks.
