Queens Park Rangers are confident that tomorrow’s FA Cup clash with Sheffield United will go ahead.

Rangers’ weekend fixture with Plymouth Argyle was postponed despite the pitch being playable and the ground meeting safety requirements.

The council deemed that the roads outside the ground weren’t able to cater for the travelling support safely, despite the nearby Westfields Shopping Centre remaining open for business.

Despite this issue clearly being out of the club’s hands, they remain confident that the game against Sheffield United will go ahead due to an improvement in conditions.

They believe the tie will go ahead as scheduled with the pitch remaining in good condition having had the snow cleared from the pitch – and the snow and ice around the ground melting significantly.
